	Siege engines are useless against an concentrated assault of infantry or calvary. Sure you can hurl a ballista bolt or catipult stone at an on rushing hoarde- but it tkes a while to load those things and aim them. that way they were mostly used again cities. Archers or crossbowmen were much more effective against assaulting troops for that reason. (Reply to this) (Thread)
